Our technology focuses more on a thermal diffusion galvanizing process which is more sustainable than hot dip galvanizing, but still offers superior corrosion protection and wear resistance as well as anti-galling properties. But ArmorGalv thermal diffusion coating system is much more than your average sherardizing process. In itself, the process nixes the need for cadmium plating, eliminating human and environmental exposure and production of cadmium and cadmium oxide. With ArmorGalv thermal diffusion coating, the base metal will not corrode, even when the part is exposed to a thousand hours of salt spray. What you'll see instead is either a free-iron or zinc-iron deposit on the surface of the metal, which can be easily washed away. So even as the sacrificial coating begins to wear down, the parts will still maintain their integrity and overall functionality. The metal components won't seize, and you can ensure that the part will continue to work for years to come.
